...it just takes two: Nathaniel and Gabriel Mo.
(This is the Bros Bio as of 2010. For current info, see nathanielmo.com and gabrielmo.com or mopiano.info ):
Both guys are piano students of Dr. Janet Bass Smith in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and both are homeschooled. They recently won the 2010 Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Southern Division senior piano duet competition, and placed second at the 2010 MTNA national senior piano duet competition.
With their older brother, Nicholas, they performed as part of the Mo Brothers 6-hands piano ensemble (click on "Ancient History" link, above) from 2002 through 2006.
As soloists, both have consistently received "superior" ratings in local piano competitions.
Gabriel (the guy on the right in the picture above) is 18 years old, and in his senior year of high school. In 2008, he won the Kentucky Music Teachers Association (KMTA) senior solo piano competition. He attended the 2009 Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts in Instrumental Music.
Nathaniel is 15 years old, and is in his freshman year of high school. He won the 2005 KMTA elementary solo piano competition, the 2007 KMTA junior competition, and the 2008 MTNA Kentucky state junior competition. He also participated, with a merit scholarship, in IU-Bloomington's prestigious summer Piano Academy in 2006, 2007, and 2008.
